One day I came to this realization. Maybe it was because it reminded me of skin. Bronzy chocolate, like pools of sun. It was also very inviting and so captivating. So warm. It felt like a familiar hug. A laugh you hadn't heard in a while. The color brown is moving and comfortable in the uncomfortable. Like the forest with all of its earthy tones.
