It's a bit intimidating at first, but it's very intuitive. To get started, you can pick a fandom, ship, or a tag you like. With the tag being anything like "fluff", "hurt/comfort", "Dead Dove", etc. Sort your preferred tags in the "sort" menu and you can also exclude certain ships and tags using that.
